Back to the Sewer
Sep. 13th, 2008 05:05 pmNo embedding, but at least I get to see the first ep. Yay for YouTube! Too bad embedding is disabled. Ah well.
Part 1
Part 2
...got a laugh out of Raph chewing out Donny here. Also, major points to Mikey.
Part 3
...that scene just before they go back reminds me, though, I never got ahold of a Fast Forward Leonardo figure. Only one I wanted, really. Ah well, maybe someday.
I know I'm going to be in the minority here, but I actually kind of like this. Well, so far, anyway. The data-battle stuff looks like it may be odd, but I don't think it's going to be an overbearing part of the series, from what I've seen. Could be wrong. But I'm glad they are back to the old setting and the old cast, like April and Casey and Hun. Also be interesting to see if they tie what we saw this ep in with later eps. Makes me think "Back to the Sewer" is a play on "Back to the Future" in that regard.
Here's hoping the series does well enough that they can go back to more complex designs. Still, for basing the look off the movie, this is ok, visually. I do kind of appreciate that they're at least trying to unify that much, since it seems the toys are doing the same thing.

Date: 2008-09-14 05:01 am (UTC)Cute, though, how they used the Fast Forward openning. Kinda spoiled, though, by how CW4Kids advertises it as "THE ALL NEW TMNT: BACK TO THE SEWERS"...
Although it was a brief flashback, it still serves as a contrast in the difference of the character designs in FF and BttS.
Oh, and Splinter.... T_T
