While at Otakon, Red and I saw a couple of shirts that we would love to get our hands on. Turns out, they're from Hot Topic (and no one at Otakon carried them, though numerous people wore them). On the upside, looks like they ship internationally now. On the downside, they don't have her size. Oh my god do they not have her size.
This is what she wants, but unfortunately, it'd fit her more like a cloak or poncho than a t-shirt, I'm afraid.
Anyway, if someone lives near a Hot Topic, and can find out if they have this thing in a Medium, it would be greatly appreciated. The closest alternative we've found anywhere is a tan version with a "faded and worn" design on Amazon, and she's not big into that pre-worn stuff.
...and I don't believe this. I don't fucking believe this. There was this awesome yellow Super Mario Bros. 3 t-shirt-- looks just like the front of the box of the NES game-- and now I can't find it anywhere on there. Dammit all. Great, so their site has just been rendered useless.
Thank God for Flickr. Here's a pic. Finally, a Mario shirt that I actually, really, truly like... and now I can't get it. (Oh, there are others I like, don't get me wrong... but I don't think any blew me away with such a simple, obvious, and glorious design as this.)
If someone reading this is able to give us a hand here, we'd really appreciate it. I definitely would... I'm trying to add a little more variety to my wardrobe than black.
Edit: Also, before anyone suggests it, I've tried eBay (and Amazon) for these, and the best that's come up at all is this knockoff on eBay. Almost had me fooled for a second, but no, that ain't right.

Date: 2008-09-02 09:19 pm (UTC)No on the Zelda shirt, however there was a few other Zelda shirts there, manily from TP, and a new one with his Master Sword and Sheild shining on the front and a cool Green and Gold Zelda fall jacket that's on Clearance.
But the Mario 3, they had them, only 3 of them.....2 were Youth Large.....however the one in the Display case was a XL.....I snagged it, I asked for anymore, but they said they couldn't find any, and they randomly get stuff in. It's awesomeness begs me to not let it go :(
Like this past week, they got in the new 8-Bit Megaman shirt that's on Capcom site to buy, so I pick up one of those, they have plently if you like one sir, also i read you mention about Metal Gear Solid 4 shirts....they have one XL of the Dissolve shirt left. Just let me know and i'll browse again.

I'd actually like to get those shirts for myself too!! I didn't see the Wind Waker one before, but damn, they're both awesome.
