For those interested, scans_daily has been showing off a number of scans from Star Wars comics as of late.

Myself? I like the movies. But not enough that I'd mark my religion as "Jedi" if asked or anything.

But it's more stuff like this that makes me really like Star Wars. These various accounts that happen alongside and around the movies, and give other perspectives, and look at things we know in a whole new way.

...I wish there was more stuff like that with Mega Man, really. Maybe something can be done about that...

I'm not a super Star Wars fan myself, but I've always ended up liking the side stuff better than the movies. The animated Clone Wars was really awesome, I thought! It got me excited for Episode III and, well, it DID turn out to be the least horrible of the prequel trilogy.

True, true. I mean, you saw me at last Otakon-- I was soooooo upset that Darkhorse went under just when they were implementing the X series! I would have subscribed to that, for sure. o_o

If my desktop's power supply hadn't of died on me, I would have updated my own doujin by now. I've drawn a ton of new pages, but my scanner has one of those OLD style ports, and my laptop can't be hooked up to it. If I can find a USB scanner, we'd be good....

There's a bunch of decent fancomics out there tho'... and they tend to have better plotlines than a retail one anyway... Soul-Rokkuman has one, for instance, that I've enjoyed reading... Who ever is translating it from spanish to english needs to hurry up on Chapter 5, cause I am hooked on it already. >>;;;;

...you mean Dreamwave? It was a little while after, actually... no telling if they were going to go through with it or not (I got to do a treatment for it, but things seemed to have fallen where they were destined to lie by then).

Even then, I think Dreamwave's Mega Man diverged a bit more from canon than I'd have liked. I could have fixed that, actually, but...

Curious about this Soul Rokkuman, though.

I've gone to our local comic shops, NOBODY has the Mega Man comic in stock. NOBODY.

I'll get ya the link when I get home. I'm at work right now so I don't have access to my favorites. :P It's an X series doujin, just FYI. :P (Of course, coming from me, that should be expected, right??)
