Jun. 5th, 2008 09:31 pmSo, went out of town yesterday to see a specialist about me bones, and after we took care of that, we took a little time to check some things out. Found a Wal-mart they'd put there, and it had some good stuff: TransFormers: Animated, including guys like Starscream and Cybertron-mode Megatron, along with Black Arachnia, Prowl, Cybertron-mode Optimus, and others. Didn't get any, unfortunately, as even the small ones were about fifteen bucks. Sorry, Prowl. :( Maybe when your sidecar version comes out...
They also had some good prices on games: Rayman: Raving Rabbids for Wii for $20, and No More Heroes for $30. Had to pass on those, too, but when we got to the mall just up the street, to my good fortune, I was able to get a copy of Rayman: Raving Rabbids for the Wii for a mere $15! EB was having some sort of special; they also had Trauma Center and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for $10 each, and it sounds like the sale is at any EB/GameSpot, at least in Canada, but I had to settle for just Rabbids.
No one had Wii Fit, which is just as well, as we can't afford that at the moment. Should get it soon, though; doc says exercise would be beneficial, and it might be good for days I'm too tired to go out after work, and especially in the winter, when I absolutely HATE going out.
Sadly, the Korean BBQ place we love out there seems to be... um, in limbo. They're reconstructing half the food court, and we don't know if they're coming back or not. Suck.
We did get to see Indiana Jones at the cheapo theater, however, and I can honestly say I loved it. I'm probably one of the few that can, but my first Indy was Temple, then Crusade, which turned out to be my favorite, and I think Kingdom errs closest to that.
