This may be of interest to some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans... and others, less so.

I don't suppose I need to remind anyone that the long-delayed Ninja Tribunal cartoon episodes begin airing tomorrow...? You'll now be able to judge for yourselves why the animation producers and Mirage felt squeezed between the proverbial rock and a hard place in regards to airing this story arc, as well as to why the story line's intensity and violence scared marketers at the prospect of its airing (much as you older fans may like this, one has to keep in mind that the show and the majority of product is geared towards children). Personally, I'm still surprised that it's being aired at all given its overall, uh, adult spirit. Look forward to hearing what you think.

Oho! Thanks for the note! I did forget about these completely. Nor had any idea they were gonna air them. Thankfully for me, 4KidsTV airs on Sundays instead of Saturdays (they air on the same channel in Phoenix, so Kids' WB! gets the Saturday slot, and 4KidsTV gets the Sunday slot).

Finally, a return to the present. I've been looking forward to this since the beginning of Fast Forward (been a fun series, but not as interesting as older seasons for some reason... Oh, and giving them a catchphrase was really lame...)

Hmm.... those last two videos you posted were NOT the episode they aired. It was the first episode of the story arc, "Ninja Tribunal", which they played before long ago.

Huh, really? I had no idea... I mean, I guess it makes sense, on the one hand, to start the arc from the beginning, but when they said they were showing "the lost episodes" on the 9th, I thought they meant "the episodes they didn't show."

So I just took the first ep from Season 5 listed on the 4Kids site and punched it into YouTube.

Well, now I just feel foolish, having cross-posted this and everything. Now people might tune in next week and wonder WTF. :(
