Skullmania
Sep. 28th, 2004 04:58 pmThe nice and generous folks at Viz(who I'm sure some of you are aware I've had contacts with since that whole manga thing started) have sent me a copy of the MegaMan NT Warrior Volume 2 DVD "Log On!" to review. Why #2 and not #1 is beyond me, but ok. Anyway, they list the four eps on the back, in the order listed from the official NT Warrior website's episode guide. Seems that Volume 1 had the first four eps, and this has the second.
But what puzzles me is the fourth "Bonus Episode on DVD Only!" which is "Skullmania!"
"Lan and MegaMan versus Miyu and SkullMan! How do you defeat a NetBattler who can see the future?"
Glancing over Rockman.EXE Online, it looks like the episode was shown in America...
So can someone down there give me confirmation? Was that ep shown or not? I don't think I can rely on the Teletoon listings, since there were about a bajillion eps shown here that weren't in the US, not to mention their constant run of the eps(in a country where the only NT toy retailer is Wal-mart, no less) here. If it was shown on TV, it is something I'd rather not glance over in the review; I'm already going to be giving the DVD a TON of slack by judging it on its own merits, rather than comparing it directly to Rockman.EXE.

Date: 2004-09-28 03:10 pm (UTC)That's really sad though, that means that the skipped episodes 6, 7 and 8 won't be released on dvd. I was really hoping they would be.
BTW, the whole "bonus episode" gig is a bunch of crap. It just means they skanked the vhs version out of it. (vhs has 3 episodes, dvd has 4)
