So, tonight was my first night of school. Felt good to go back, somehow. And while I was a bit edgey most of the day beforehand, I get a strong feeling I'm going to enjoy this. I think this just might be for me...

My teacher, don't know if anyone will recognize the name, is Mr. Marc Chambers, and he has a decent resume, doing voiceovers for Listerine commercials, The Weather Channel, Duke Nukem games, and THQ's WarHammer 4000, among some other stuff.

He also recognized Scott McNeil and David Kaye when I brought their names up, and it sounds like we'll be getting to hear some CDs of work from the latter at some point.

Finally, it feels good to take hold of my destiny.

Good luck with that. I've always sort of wanted to do voice work, although my vocal cords aren't as versatile as they used to be. Maybe you can be the next Billy West and we'll all idolize you from afar.

Pulling for Scott McNeil here myself, or maybe Ian Corlett. The latter says it's awful to basically be known for just once voice, but it'd make things easier for me...

...on the other hand, I be Scott might collect some slightly-larger paychecks, performing twice as many voices...

Still, hopefully I'll be SOMEthing... that's all I want/need. :) Thanks for the well-wishes, maybe with any luck I can bring some consistent talent to the Capcom brand... 9_9

I rather like Ian Corlett's voice--let's face it, not everyone can be Scott McNeil. ^^;; But it's nice to hear is voice and go "dude! That's Ian Corlett!" It's nice to recognize him, and then marvel over the characterization he does.

On another note, much luck to you on this. It sounds like a great career.

Thanks. After today, going to need a great career. Thanks for the well-wishes, I hope it turns something up. Downside is it'll probably be around two years before it becomes a profitable venture, but hopefully it'll take off sooner than that.
