So I got this TransMetal Megatron from Beast Wars used and in excellent condition, a prize find at Value Village. Only missing a T-Rex arm, which a fellow Allsparker is sending me.

I go to transform him earlier, and when I twist him at the waist as part of his transformation... snap.

Today's been a lousy day for Beast Wars for me, between that happening a short while ago, and finding out that YTV switched the timeslot for Beasties, meaning they start all over again. I'm never going to get to enjoy a straight run of episodes unless I buy the fucking DVDs, am I? Same for Red, she's not seen the Agenda or Nemesis...

I'm told that the Armada version of the mold, Predacon, and Beast Wars Metals Megatron both hold together much better than the NA TM Megatron, which everyone seems to be having problems with.

both are much better than TM Megatron, I dont know why really, they look exactly the same. guess Hasbro just used cheaper grade plastic the first time around.

Cool, thanks, but will it help? It's the part that goes through the piece that holds his tail in Beast mode, his "holster" if you will... snapped clean in two, so his groin, fans, and legs are one part, his holster another, and his chest, arms, head, and shoulders another.

I looked, and I found a junker TM megatron, but it's right arm hinge is broken, so its not a workable substitute.

try glue. honestly. not super glue, get gorilla glue. my friend glued armada unicron to his ceiling with that crap. (part of a display thing he was doing)

I'd go into an insane fit if any of my Transformers broke (currently only has: G1 Starscream, Energon Snowcat, and Armada Unicron) out of paranoia I keep Unicron on the floor to avoid him from ever falling off the shelf and possibly breaking (I might store him in Planet Mode if I do shelf.) Right now I have Unicron giving the finger while holding one of my Love Hina figures. Also I'm seriously careful with my Blues soul figure, I'm scared his legs could break off from the body looking at how the legs are connected to it like a model kit.

its called the drop test. they drop it from 6 feet, and see what survives. anything that breaks off has to be a certain size that isnt swallow-able by children, and a certain portion of the toy must stay intact.

Not to mention avoid jagged edges, I hear that's what's doomed Fortress Maximus to not having a new release, dammit all.
