lbd_nytetraynAre things finally starting to look up? I sure hope so. Granted, it's not a paying job in the traditional sense, but, I can get some money out of it, with a bit of help.
At the very least, it's progress.
Of course, as I said, it's not really paying, so I can't sustain myself with it, which is the only real downside, but I knew this going in. It's more about the exposure, and possibly any sort of perks and experience I can pick up along the way. But, stuff like a number of Diggs, or references on Del.icio.us, Reddit.com, and N4G.com. I'm not going into details about numbers here, but let's just say that if you have anything to do with any of the above and like what I write, well, anyone who knows me knows that lately, any money is good.
Not that I'm expecting it, or anything.
Back to the more central topic at hand, though, I'm stoked about this. I've actually known about this for a little bit, I tried awhile back, and almost forgot about it when I got the e-mail. An online meeting or three later, and here I am. I just didn't want to say anything until there was something a little more concrete, and I figure that link is about as concrete as anything. Of course, I'm still in the "learning" phase for AMN, but it's pretty easy, really. TMMN, PMO, and all the other sites I've done news blurbs for have helped, undoubtedly. But it'll still be a couple of weeks before I'm turned loose (which is why the e-mail associated with my name has nothing to do with me, I'd imagine).
I just hope I'm able to capably manage my time between this, PMO, and... well, everything else. Including Red's own work time on the computer.
And I guess that's all I've got to say for right now.
