I have issues with idiots in the Pokemon world...

I swear, I want to punch half the residents of Pokemon World/Sinnoh Region/whatever in the fucking face. SO many idiots and assholes...

Me: "Hmm, I think I'd like to check out the forest some more..."

Asshole: "HEY, YOU HAVE A BIKE! GO CHECK OUT THE BIKE ROAD, IT'S GREAT!" *SHOVE*

Me: "...the hell?! I don't WANT to go that way yet, I want to check around the FOREST some more!" *walks*

Asshole: "HEY, YOU HAVE A BIKE! GO CHECK OUT THE BIKE ROAD, IT'S GREAT!" *SHOVE*

Me: "Fuck!"

And the way jerks jump you outside of town... they say the STUPIDEST THINGS...

"Hey, my shoelace is untied!" *BATTLE SCENE*

"I wanna ride a bicycle!" *BATTLE SCENE*

"I like pie." *BATTLE SCENE*

And you can't get away from these, either. Man, WTF? How about "Wanna fight? Not a good time? Ok, cool, come back some time. :D "

No, it's more like "Fucking thing in the forest never even got a CHANCE to attack, and somehow my damn Pokemon is poisoned! I need to get it to a Center so it can heal!"

Guy: "HEY, THE SKY IS BLUE! THAT MEANS IT'S RAPETIME!"

Me: "Ugh, I don't have time for this..."

Other Guy: "Hey, the only thing better than rape is GANG RAPE! GET HIM!"

Me: "Sure, why not? Raping a whole gang might be fun..."

*kablooey*

Guy: "Oh, wow, don't I suck?"

Other Guy: "I suck Wormples because they're like sucking..."

Me: "Yeah, fine, bye."

Crazy-ass world...

Yeah I don't like the early trainers...

Often I don't even read what the trainer says.

And if you want annoying, try walking from one city to the next, and before it is a some what difficult double battle and all your pokemon are low on HP and you're low on HP recovery items.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF POKEMON

One of the classic phrases from the original Red/Blue was this kid that said, "Hi! I like shorts! They're comfy and easy to wear!" before battle.

Sometimes they're decent, though. In one gym in the original Red/Blue, a trainer says something like, "It'll be light years before you can challenge our leader!" Then when you beat him, he says, "Light years measure distance, not time..."

But yeah. You've pretty much described the bread & butter of the Pokemon single-player experience, at least until you beat the final bosses. You'll pick up on ways to skirt around most trainers (some just cannot be avoided), but it's good to fight as many people as you can to level. You may need to backtrack frequently to heal, though (rather than pushing forward thinking the next town is JUST ahead...).

There are a few quick trips back to a Pokemon Center: If your Pokemon knows Teleport, Dig, or Fly, you can zip to one pretty quickly. At least, in the old games you could... I haven't tried Teleport and Dig to see if they've changed them in the recent games.

Anyway some advice I found. If you see an obvious double trainer set up, run up and talk to one of the trainers to initiate a fight. Then you'll get two, easier, single trainer battles.

Personally, I like how the Elite Four, the ordinary trainers leading up to them, the last gym leader, and so on are all way better than you had to be to defeat the huge evil organization and such. Hello, Volkner, I see you have a team of Pokémon! Would have been nice if you'd shown up with those the other day when I was SAVING THE GODDAMN WORLD.
