FINALLY, a new character!

A New Challenger Has Appeared, and it is none other than the Princess of Hyrule and bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom herself, Zelda!

What's more, this just adds to the general unpredictability of these updates, as the already-known Snake, Meta-Knight, and Zero Suit Samus have yet to be added to the site, nor have the hinted possibilities of Yoshi and Ridley.

And it's not even E3 yet.

So now... all bets are off.

That's a really nice character model they've done for her this time out. She didn't have anywhere near enough screen time in Twighlight Princess for my liking, so it's nice to see.

Now, what we really want now is Midna... :)

It seems all they did was redo her textures. Her model seems the same, and from the screenshots, most of her animations seem the same too (All of those poses look like poses she strikes in Melee. I use her a lot)

But man, I dig the darker hair color and the eye makeup. hawt. :D

If there's a Yoshi's Island level, we can only assume Yoshi is still in. Nevermind the fact that he's been on both of the prequels.

Maybe he'll have Baby Mario on his back?

As for Ridley, I could go either way if he's included. They'd have to do an exceedingly amazing job with him for me to actually enjoy playing him.

I want to see what other 3rd party characters are going to make the cut. Considering the tight partnership Sega has been forging with Nintendo, never mind several composers from Sega games are on this team currently, I suspect we may see NiGHTS and hopefully Sonic (At least, if not more than a few from his respective pantheon) or maybe some other Sega characters show up.

We all know if Capcom got involved, Megaman would rock (no pun intended) everyone's world.
