Sigh, this is just perfect.

So besides having this cloud of debt lingering over our heads and veiled threats from the landlords, I now find out that the panel Ryouko and I were going to have at Otakon isn't actually ours.

Someone else submit "20 Years of Mega Man," with the same fucking title, just before she did.

So on top of everything else, if I'm going, I need to get admission as well. This sucks. I was really looking forward to doing it, too.

Fuckers at Otakon didn't ever reply to my e-mail earlier this year about the damn thing, either.

This sucks.

I wish I could help you and Red. I really do. I don't have any money, though, or else I'd help you with it. I just wanna say you truly have my deepest sympathies and best wishes. You guys are both pretty good people. You've always been good to me, even if I didn't always -- or even often -- deserve it in the past.

Their entire panel process was completely screwed this year. It changed heads at the last minute and everything went to hell.

I didn't; I wasn't sure if I would be going, so I left it in Ryouko's hands.

She said she submit just after you did, though she might just be going by the results, I don't know for sure.

According to the panel head, I sent my request in a day or so after yours. Just barely. We had been trying to get in contact with Otakon about the panel for much longer, though. Just never got any replies.
