I must have some hideously retarded feet. They're flat, always have been, nothing TOO unusual there.
But in times when I've invested in inserts, I keep having a problem wherein the left one always slides forward in my shoe, making things uncomfortable after awhile, and forcing me to occassionally pause and remedy the situation. Quite the nuisance, I should say.
On top of that, it seems like my heels disintegrate socks. I'll have a perfectly good pair at the start of a day, and by the time I'm done, there's a hole in the heel, and it just gets worse at a rapid rate, sometimes multiplying. And it's not even like I walk that much.
Maybe they're cursed. I bet they can probably account for one or two other problems as well.

Date: 2007-06-02 08:34 am (UTC)My feet are also naturally at an angle (kinda duck-looking). I remember one time how this annoyed part of my family on my dad's side, and they tried to help me "fix" this by having me force myself to make my feet parallel as I walk.
When I did, it was uncomfortable and I had NO balance. Ugh.
