lbd_nytetraynAh, what a grand Free Comic Book Day. I scored, and I scored good.
Besides a free Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer poster, I managed to get every book they had that I wanted: Sonic the Hedgehog (made of win and awesome), Bongo Simpsons/Futurama, Unseen Peanuts, Amazing Spider-man, Marvel Adventures Iron Man & Hulk, Mickey Mouse, and Little Archie.
Plus a couple of things on hold, including part 4 of the TransFormers The Movie prequel.
Went to Value Village after, but that was a bust. They didn't even have any overalls... well, they did, but they were black, so no good.
The BIG score was at Real Canadian Superstore, though. I went there on a hunch, as I sometimes do, and it totally paid off.
They had some TransFormers there, Classics and some Cybertron. Prices were mostly duds, however; Classics Optimus at the usual 40, the Giant Planet Minicon team from Cybertron for 15 (WTF), and the Clear Skies Classics Minicons for 10.
BUT. I ran Classics Jetfire under the scanner as well...
$7.94.
From everything I've heard, he's 10 on Clearance at Target in the US; conversions and such would probably mean that this was like getting him for maybe four bucks US?
You bet I grabbed his ass, and another as well, fate undetermined. If someone comes through with another Jetfire, the one still in the box here is probably going back to the store to be exchanged. Or eBay, or who knows. But I still want two, one to have as Jetfire, and another to be my first custom job as Autobot Nytetrayn.
On the way home, I had a little more good luck. There was a loonie (Canuck buck) on the step of the bus I was getting on, and I snagged it.

Before going home, however... well, I get to share my good fortune today with anyone that may want it.
I swung by EB Games for the heck of it, and just in time too, as they were closing. Just glanced around, and they have the first Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game for 20 bucks, being clearanced. Seven copies.
I'm willing to try and grab a copy for anyone who's willing to pay me for it. Just PayPal me the money and info, and I'll try and grab you a copy, just that simple. If I don't get it, I can refuse the payment and no harm, no foul, right? All up to you, though, I don't really get anything from it except the benefit of spreading the Ace Attorney love and helping some of you who can't find it out.
Oh, as for price, I THINK maybe 21, 22 US would probably handle tax and low-fare shipping. Any questions, reply, e-mail, whatever suits your fancy.
