My dad has a saying I've heard him use many a time. Something like "can't win for losing." I've always had a tough time wrapping my brain around that one for some reason, but today it feels appropriate.

Long day at work today. Not as long as it should have been, though, thanks to a half-hour late bus.

After that, things went slooooooow. Sort of a refreshing change from yesterday, though, where I damn near burnt myself out.

So, I'm working Monday after all, Tuesday is a long shot, but that seems to be it for the foreseeable future. At least I've got something that's not retail to add to my resume', may that serve me well.

Got a bit down after work, just knowing that things are going to be back to the sad state of normal soon.

While I won't rule it out, I really don't know if Otakon will happen for us this year. On a related note, I'm really, truly sorry, ryoneko. You know why. :(

Stopped by Rogers on the way home. They had a pair of Super Paper Mario posters. Each with about five people calling dibs. :(

Stopped by Future Shop as well. Figured now that I see that Sonic Rush has dropped to $19.99 there, I'd see if any other stores had it, or if they were expecting more.

No, and no. Damn. And I so wanted to play that, too. I hope this doesn't happen with Super Princess Peach.

Ah well, maybe something good will happen.
