No you don't. It wasn't that good of a game.

More details were put into how it LOOKED than how it played.

I'm a low-level completist. I want to at least go through once.

I have Gamer's OCD. Urge to 100% EVERYTHING, and masochism to do it to boot.

I gave up on Yoshi's Story when I realized how painfully weak the title was. And keep in mind, this is coming from someone who finished FFX-2 with 100% completion. Yoshi's Story was a much simpler game, and still no dice.

I seriously urge you to skip out on this quest unless you can pull it off for the low, low price of "free".

I'm more of a Mario whore. And I dig the stories.

Yep, you read that right. I love knowing the stories and events of Mario games. But it's mostly because I build around it in my head.

Anyway, I'll probably pay more than free, but that's to get the box and booklet, because again, I'm something of a completist.

The video states that, after you ground-pound Pak E. Derm, you're required to take the alternate road to move forward. This is incorrect. In reality, all you need to do after the ground-pound is jump over Pak E. Derm. Saves a bit of effort.

Usually this wouldn't even be worth mentioning, except that this person decided to make a six-minute video on the similarities between a SSBM level and the game it's based on, noting such discrepencies as reletive cloud size. Might as well keep it accurate if you're going to go that far.

Yoshi's Story Enraged me, it looked so great, then I beat it in like under 5 hours. 100%'d it in less than 2 days. and it doesnt like up to Yoshi's Island at all. it has like 3% of its features.

honestly I'd say it was a waste of money, because I Bought it new.

aye, but my main concern is gamelength. Nintendo's recent games that arent RPG's have all been in the 2 to 3 days to complete pile. if thats the case, Ill wait til its my reasonably priced, or heck maybe ill even rent it.

Wow, 8 minutes to focus on how similar SSBM's Yoshi's Story stage is to the original... when it was meant to be! ...I'm almost impressed! I wonder what he'll do for the Metroid stages, since they're mostly awful and relatively unrelated to the games (less so for the depths with Kraid in the background, obviously, but the main stage is ugly).

That guy has a cool move swapping video involving a game shark in his YouTube favorites... seeing Mr. Game & Watch float like Mewtwo is the most ridiculously awesome thing ever. :D (second best is other characters acting like Mr. Game & Watch)

Yoshi's Story is... not great, but not the most terrible thing, I guess. TOSE quality, I guess? (now that I know TOSE exists, I'm going to retcon history and blame every lousy game in solid franchises on them. It's nice to find scapegoats!) If you can get it really cheap (like five bucks?) than go ahead. Best you can do in lieu of rentals, I guess. ;)

If you can find it cheep then for for it. I bought it. Find it kind of fun and own the book for it. Try to find the black and white yoshis. They may be the best. And try to get all melons in a level or every level. That can be hard.
But, no one knows what they're singing as you go from one level to another.

Yeah. They like all the fruit so you can get a favorite fruit bonus for all fruit. Plus you can eat peppers without problems. I have the book. I could help if needed. I also have a scanner.
