I thought I was almost done with Case 4 in "Justice For All," but I feel like I'm even further away...

Just got back from my in-laws' house awhile ago for Passover. One thing I did while there was spend a little time watching TV. First was the WWE Hall of Fame awards I missed over the weekend. Dusty made it sound like Triple H wasn't coming back, I need to look into that...

After the HoF ceremony, I found out that for some reason, Rogers seems to have TWO channels set to G4 Tech TV now, the original on 250, and a second on 90.

(And for the record, Canadian G4 is a bit different from American G4, some good, some bad. Drives me crazy to keep seeing ads and bumpers for American programming we don't get, however.)

Sadly, 90 doesn't work at home. I really need to get that cable box replaced, but getting it down there is the tough part.

At any rate, Trigun's part of the lineup now! So w00t for that. I've seen the entire series, but Red's only seen the end. She caught a glimpse of Milly and thought she'd ascertained my interest in the show, but ironically, not only is she not a catalyst for me watching the show, but she's never really interested me all that much.

Got to watch Call For Help, and--what's this?! Amber's gone! At least Leo's still there.

I tried to watch, but really, unless everyone's focused on the TV, trying to hear anything is impossible, and closed captioning wasn't available, either. A damn shame, as I'd hoped to pick up some podcasting tips. I THINK it might've had more to do with the video kind, but I'm not sure. I ought to hunt and peck around online to see if I can find any helpful guides. I should ask ladyguardian sometime, she might be able to help.

Caught part of "Cheat" as well. Which sort of lead to a discussion which ultimately leads me to wonder: does Kristen Holt actually play video games, or is she purely for eye-candy? Neither would surprise me terribly, but I do desire the truth.

Oh, and I had my first shrink appointment today (before all the above). Went alright, I suppose. Can't help but wish I'd gotten to do this about two or three weeks ago, though, as my memory on things isn't so clear, and my mindset is more on the upswing at the moment. And the damn form I had to fill out felt like it was asking all the wrong questions.

And that was pretty much my day. I get to go back to the shrink again next week, but I'm missing out on Passover tomorrow because I need to work what I can while I have this crazy job.

Obligatory CFH Update

Amber left quite a while ago for a new gig at CityTV. Call For Help is also over even though the site and network kinda pretend it isn't. Greedy Production (aka Victor Lucas, Electric Playground) bought the show and moved it to Vancouver where it will now be called The Lab with Leo Laporte or something like that. I'd also be happy to try and help you out with your podcast. I don't do much audio work but I know plenty of people who do. I'll see if they can recommend any guides or just some starter tips for people who want to podcast on the cheap :)

(Seriously sorry if I missed such an LJ post. Moreso if I didn't and forgot I replied. My head's a mess right now. x_X)

I like Electric Playground, and it seems to get onto other channels, even, so I guess it may be in good hands.

And I appreciate the offer of help, hope we can do something good with this. :)

You know, I don't like G4 US. The smartest thing they did for a while was Arrested Development and Ninja Warrior. I didn't get G4 or Tech TV until a little close to their slide to suck. They really need more anime and less suck.
