Despite hearing about some stuff regarding people being let go for their numbers or arguing over the whole legitimacy of our list/system, I seem to be doing alright, as it sounded like my numbers had improved today to around 10-11/14, last I heard. Not too bad, and the supervisor seemed impressed.

I finally make it to work on time today, to get my full half-hour paid lunch, just for the lot of us to be let out an hour early so we can "be fresh tomorrow" when we come in. Normally, I'd have no problem with this, but it's only a three-week contract, and I can't help but note the subtle irony of me getting less pay for a day I get in on time.

Oh well. At least I had an easier trip home this time, since I wasn't leaving work on the cusp of midnight. Being Friday might've helped the TTC along too, I dunno.

On a side note, whenever we mark a call for "Ans Machine," I always misread it in my mind's eye as "Ass Machine."

So, anything else to speak of? Not much, really.

No one really acknowledged this on IRC, so I figure I'll post it here. Pic of Mario vs. Bowser I colored:

I should really learn shading sometime. Or at least how to do those slightly-shaded shadows the regular colored art has.

The picture is from a coloring book by Little Golden, I believe, one that I had as a kid/still have today, along with one or two others. Neat pics inside, this one's always been a fave.

Today, someone would have complained that Bowser was jumping at Mario and Mario was holding the axe up for Bowser to land on, and thus it would be unsuitable.

Woah. XD It would've been neat if you could actually do that in the games.

Nah, Mario's just gonna chop-chop-chop him up.

Awmaigawd! I used to have that book! It's where I learned my first inside-knowledge about SMB (since I never had a NES to learn from).

Doing shadings isn't hard to learn I'd say, the only thing you need for it is patience and experience.

Ah the axe from SMB1. Wow I really like the graphics in this coloring book. Also lol old school Mario color scheme with red overalls instead of blue. Very old school authentic.

Ah the axe from SMB1.

I miss it. I was disappointed when it wasn't in New SMB. Would've been great if reaching it triggered an animation that showed Mario chopping the chain holding the bridge up.

Also a little silly that you have to hit the switch in New SMB for completion... even if you fireball your way through. How is Mario supposed to get out?

Wow I really like the graphics in this coloring book.

Me too, fond memories.

Also lol old school Mario color scheme with red overalls instead of blue. Very old school authentic.

Thanks, that was my goal. :)
