To get away from the ugliness of that last entry, here's something else.

Turns out I wasn't able to acquire the Garfield stuff from the movie theater. The window clingers tore up upon being removed, I was told, and it seems 21st Century Fox wanted the materials back(though they missed a couple). Ergo, I didn't get anything, though I was informed of a place here in TO that sells that kind of stuff. Wish I could remember the name of the website, though.

Not that it matters, I can't afford it right now, anyway.

At least the guy was nice enough to check their closet, and found a few Garfield activity books and balloons he was nice enough to give me, the 25-year old Garfield freak in a Spider-Man button-up shirt.

Speaking of Spider-Man, my distaste for Kirsten Dunst as Mary-Jane Watson is not without its humorous notes. I was reading in a Spider-Man book I snagged for a couple of bucks on our last visit to the States(good one, too, covered the comics, toon, and 17-year history of the making of the movie. Spider-Man Confidential, I believe it's called), and one entry noted that Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst had apparently developed a romance behind the scenes.

And recently, Red's mother said that they apparently hate each others' guts now.

Then we take this into account.

It all makes sense now.

Doesn't mean I like her stance, or her playing of the part, any more, though.

Let's face it, for someone whose identity in her first appearances was concealed via laughably odd methods, be it her back turned or her face behind a plant(to sort of swerve people, and build suspense), and whose first words upon actually meeting Peter were "Face it, Tiger, you just hit the jackpot!"... Dunst just didn't really pull off the supermodel character that Mary Jane was supposed to be.

Of course, the writing of the part could have something to do with it. But overall, I just never really felt vibes of Mary-Jane from her. She filled the part, but she didn't really fill the role, IMO, in looks or in character.

Personally, I feel that this actress could fill the role much better.

Compare for yourself:

Lohan

Mary Jane's first appearance

So yeah, once the three pic deal is up, I hope that Raimi sticks around, fan that he is, Maguire sticks around, because he does the role so much justice, and I hope they ship Dunst and her "don't want to be in one role too long and Spider-Man should die" ass out, and bring Lohan in.

That's my take, anyway.

Yeesh she said Spiderman should die in the next film? What a bimbo.
I feel changing actors can get wierd, but whatever. They did it to James Bond XX times.

Like the Batman movies, I was used to Micheal Keaton. Val Kilmer was okay, especially since George Clooney Batman was just 0_o'

Long story short Batman And Robin was a really bad Batman movie that looked ambigously gay at times and the nipple suits (even Bat Girl had it) made me wonder if Mr.Freeze got everyone that "cold."

Also I still say Aquaman is long over due his own movie!
