Feb. 15th, 2007 10:50 pmI need a manager or something.
Everything I want to do, need to do, where to start, where to go, what to do, what to say... drives me a bit nuts as I'm looking over different things. Looking at housesitting as a possible avenue for income, I have query letters I need to write, and part of my damn problem is my own little Catch-22 wherein I'm supposed to really sell myself, which butts heads with the part of me that doesn't want to look like an egomaniac.
...which in itself conflicts with the fact that egomaniacs are one of my favorite personality-types when it comes to entertainment.
In other news: I played mad scientist in fixing dinner tonight.
Well, not that mad.
I set the oven to 425, laid some slices of bread on a rack I put on a tray, with lunch meat on one side of each, and let it cook for about 10-12 minutes. Add condiments, and boom.
It ain't Quizno's, but it's not bad in itself for a quick-fix with some chicken soup on a cold winter's night. Might've been nice if we could've picked up some cheese, tho. That'd melt real nice on there.

Date: 2007-02-16 01:43 pm (UTC)I remember I once tried making a tuna casserole using whatever I had around the house. I had to make a lot of substitutions... I think I ended up using half & half instead of milk at some point. Came out alright!
