For the first time, I was quite literally compelled to enter this week's Improved Archie contest. Not only compelled, the ideas, they were a-flowin'.
Sadly, none of my entries were used, or even got an honorable mention.
Since I hate to see them go to waste, and am curious what people think, behind the cut are my different submissions as to what Archie should be saying.
"Oh, ha-ha. MAIN character, MAIN St., I get it. No wonder people say the writing's gone all to Hell."
"Dammit, Ethel! Don't you even DARE think of biting my wang!" (I had originally used "cock," but thought it might be too much. Silly me.)
"As a champion of Gay Rights, I find that having all of these nubile young girls swooning over the very sight of me to be simply APPALLING!"
"Well, I guess the lack of bulge would explain why Big Moose is always so damn JEALOUS!"
Oh well. Maybe inspiration will strike again sometime, and I can give another try.
