gelgameth and I were just having a discussion...

What is geekier? Star Wars porn(the drawn kind) or TransFormers porn(featuring the robots)?

We know that Star Wars is typically viewed as higher on the geek scale than TransFormers, but below Star Trek, albeit just barely(and should perhaps be higher; whereas Trekkers have created their own language based on what's on ST, Star Wars fans have created their own RELIGION based on the Jedi stuff in the movies).

So I guess what it boils down to is, is it the franchise or the content of the porn that makes it geekier? Is it geekier to check out drawn pictures of real people and live-action/CG creatures doing it, or is it geekier to get off on pictures based on toy robots(like, ROBOT-looking robots; human looking cyborgs that can easily be portrayed by a human actress don't count) getting it on, sometimes with humans?

Offer your opinions, please.

And for the record, I don't actively look for either, though I do laugh when I see it. I just visit those image boards where people post all kinds of crap, which lead to the debate.

I will allow one case where Star Wars porn is all the geekier.. some of those aliens. Like. I dunno. A Rodian like Greedo. Porn of a character like that is wrong on such a scale... gh

I think TF porn is worse, since TFs cant have sex and dont even have genitals.

I've only seen once TF porn pic in my life, and thats too much. you know the scene in beast wars where airazor and tigatron get wrapped in those wierd tentacle things and then shot off into space and are never seen again? well, just apply a certain japanese porn style being featured in a recreation of that. only with the tentacles violating BOTH of them.

gah, people disgust me.

I maintain that Transformers reproduce sexually (only makes sense given certain elements of the design and show) but it would be something about as arousing as slug-sex. . ghghghhh

yep. the G2 comics established that the transformers do something similar to cellular division. no mating, nothing. its a completely solitary action.

the females have a few origins:
G1 show - different product made by the quintessons made for companionship
G1 comic - apparently to shut up female rights activists
DW comic - no origin or explanation.

Technically, the comics already were different than the cartoon, the cartoon already makes little sense, and then there was Beast Wars and all that stuff which really makes one go o_O. And frankly, I have a hard time buying a lot of those interactions from an asexual race. As the G1/G2 comics covered it, sure. Maybe you even have a sick explanation in the G1 show. But the Beast Era stuff...


..Anyway. Thankfully, it's back to non-issue in the newer stuff as we're mostly back to TFs being rather gender neutral on the whole. I do prefer the idea that TFs are built to all the other explanations. . . I think the Gobots actually did a better job with some of their female characters (..that good guy who turned into a space ship, not the creepy sports-car bad guy). ... why would a female robot have curves? *shudder*

I'll go with TF porn. There's something wrong with you if you get off on watching robots have sex (MM/MMX doesn't count because the robots are aesthetically indistinguishable from humans). Star Wars CAN get downright freaky if the aliens are involved, but I'm pretty sure hetero SW porn is more common than homo, while 90% of TF porn is Megatron and Starscream trading the steel salami.
