I wake up at 9am because that's when 4Kids said the new TMNT would be on. Turns out it's the other ep.
Wouldn't be so pissed, except the second ep is at 10am, with a half-hour in between. Thanks a lot, jerks.
4Kids seems to think they're Disney, now, too. They're going to show Yugi and Kaiba's last duel in movie format, "broadcast for the last time before it goes back in the vault."
Edit: AND both are reruns. Fuck 4Kids.

Date: 2007-02-03 09:44 pm (UTC)I think those are the two most common words in the average anime viewer's vocabulary.
Well, I guess I have nothing to look forward to then (where I live, Kids' WB! and Fox Kids/Fox Box/4Kids TV have aired on the same channel for many years. Kids' WB! on Saturdays, and 4Kids TV on Sundays).

Date: 2007-02-04 04:20 am (UTC)Ah, the Disney vault. As if anyone cares what happens to Lady and the Tramp 2 and all of those other series Disney has whored out in the name of the almighty dollar. I got a kick out of their latest commercial for Cinderella 3. "As good as the original!" Yeah. Right. After Disney offed their 2D animation staff, I wonder where this stuff comes from.
Appending numbers to movie titles = instant cheesiness. For bonus cheesiness, append it to a well known and respected movie.
It's amusing to me how, with few exceptions, movie sequels have the opposite problem of video game sequels. They get worse with sequels almost invariably.
