Fuck Capcom...
Jul. 2nd, 2004 07:51 amI played MM8 earlier the AC way, backwards controls. It was a mess, though somewhat workable. When it came crunch time and I had to dodge, jump, and work on getting off a precision charged shot, that's when it got ugly, and I usually took far more damage than I would have had the controls been normal. Truth was, as soon as I took my mind off of coordinating myself, that's when it went to shit.
Nonetheless, I managed to get through the first half of the game before stopping.
But why did I stop?
Because my hand started fucking hurting from playing the damn game in such a friggin' queer way.
And that was some hours ago. It's almost 8am here, this had to be... I dunno, let's be generous, and say five hours. I think it was more, but since I'm not sure, we'll give it a low number.
This is just BULLSHIT, and part of why I refuse to pay full price for this piece of tripe(thankfully, I have inside help to see that I stick to my creed).
What's laughable is, people keep pining for a Mega Man X collection. Picture this nonsense with the addition of a dash button in there. Just imagine trying to charge while dash jumping off a wall and letting your shot go.
But if that's how Capcom USA wants to play, fine. I've got their number...
...or rather, their e-mail.
And rather than their e-mail, someone else's... >:D
If this all works out... it will be very sweet indeed, OH yes...

And which system?
Nintendo GameCube.
And why can't you just change the controls to something less painful?
No controller configuration mode, that's why.
