lbd_nytetraynAnd here we are, 2007. Happy New Year!
Decided to check out the hyped-up festivities on the Animal Crossing games.
GCN was a huge disappointment. There was a countdown of tones which got louder as the time neared, and then the bell sounded. Some extra beats to that New Year song played with the regular music, but overall, pretty stagnant. Nothing near as nice as on Thanksgiving, either, with everyone around the fountain in Iacon celebrating.
In DS's Wild World, though, it was more interesting. There was a countdown clock in the square with Tortimer, and fireworks started going off after midnight hit, and everyone's shouting Happy New Year and giving their thoughts and stuff.
Oh, and Tortimer gave me a "popper" for the occassion as well. And some neat music played.
