Practice practice practice. Those hands are a real bugger to beat, and you definately won't get them even on your 10th try. Unfortunately.
Advice: Go for the crazy hand first, the one on the left. Try to stay close to only one hand at a time, and don't flip-flop! Stay on that one and never let up. Don't start attacking the other one until the first one is down.
Eventually, you'll formulate a strategy from pure practice and you'll kick their asses. They have patterns, and the telegraph their moves (somewhat), so you'll get it down. Just keep at it.
Dont tell me that you forgot Yoshi down+A attack where he can do near 50% of dammage when timed right. That the best attack to use against in that Event Match :)
Just use a maneuverable character who's not too light weight.
It's all about memerizing their patterns. If you could beat the old MM games without cheats then you shouldn't have any trouble with attack patterns and barely telegraphed moves once you start thinking of them like that. I used Samus (because I use her for everything..) but I'd imagine Link or Captain Falcon could also do the job. Just learn their patterns and their signals. It's all pretty consistant. Just chaotic
Tried Link. And if it's one hand, I can keep an eye on them, but both hands tear me up. Seems the damn attacks home in, anyway. It's nothing like taking them on in the other mode.
What move does Captain Falcon have that'll work?
Red tried Bowser, that was no good. Freaking cheated her, she had that edge, but it didn't grab.
The attacks focus on your position somewhat, too. So you have to assume constant motion is necessary. They're not homing though, once you've dodged you've dodged. The big one is whenever a hand starts to sparkle and move around (it's pretty specific, it involves more wrist movement and gripping movements) the only way to dodge is to move away from the hand. That grab is the deadliest attack a single hand can perform and it's pretty rough to dodge.
The dual hand attacks pretty much come down to just jumping out of the way and hoping you float long enough to dodge the effect
Up and A smash. Ah, once I read this, all those memories flooded back. Falcon is good, but Ganondorf does immensely INSANE levels of damage. The trade-off is that he's much slower, but if you're careful, he'll do the job for you really quickly.
Fuck Link. He never did nothin' for nobody, not in this house.
So far, Captain Falcon(of all characters) is the only one who's even come close to doing this, and next thing I know, the damn hands keep on me with a fucking VENGEANCE. Half the time I'm knocked off the edge without even realizing it... this fucking match is BULLSHIT, plain and simple. I just can't catch a fucking break here, and I'm starting to get a damn migraine from it.
