Jesus that was hilarious. I really hate most of the segasonic stuff, but that did indeed make me laugh my ass off. Poor Sonic though, always getting maimed or misused in one way or another. hehe.

I know what you mean, but you have to admit, their music just slid them each into the appropriate role perfectly :)

Speaking of Sonic, remember that issue you reviewed in your LJ awhile back? Dot-eyed Sally doing a super-hyper-combo-finish slap on Sonic to break up with him? The one whose art was so jarring, any impact the story was supposed to have was immediately lost? Yeah, well, our library got that one, and Red was able to read it yesterday.

It's sad, that. The story potential was there, but it's nearly impossible to see for the art.

I know.. although they did take the characters so terribly out of character that it made it hard to accept, even if the art was good. Sally just changed way too quickly, and from what i can tell, they're mostly relying on popularity bouts between Mina and Sally on their site.

Case in point.. They made Sonic love Sally, and that pissed off the Mina fans.. but they justified her worth by having her almost 'die' to save Sally for Sonic. Then, we see Sally and Sonic getting serious and the mina fans uproar again...so, they shove Sonic into space and allow time to pass, giving them an excuse to make Sally so ...um..PMSed and jaw unhinging. Thus pleasing the Mina fans.. but, to make it 'square' with the Sally fans..they gave Mina a boyfriend (Ash) ... But they leave it open to where Mina COULD break up with him and get with Sonic while Sallys busy eating cities. Still their 25 year later thing is suppose to show the 'real' ending of the story..and Sonic and Sally are king and queen.

But the future is never set. @.@

Popularity crap.. its a damn shame. And the Amy fans..well, they may have their chance soon since Archies adopting Sonic X stuff into their timeline.


I wish Sonic'd just wake up from this nightmare and find himself humping Rotor or somethin'. ID PAY TO SEE THAT! *vomits*

I hear ya, lizsama. I stopped reading the comic after they butchered E.V.E. ...one of my favorite villians from the early parts of the series. I mean, ugh, that was such a terrible, over-used plot device, to get rid of such an original character... Just bleh. >_<

EVE was awesome. SPAZ did some excellent work with her too.
They reintroduce EVE again as an evolved tentacle woman and despite most of their retardation, they did do well with her...kinda..sorta..

:P Indeed. Spaz did EVE right... that Swatbot form was sexah. So was the Bee form. And the Snake. XD

They should just have Spaz do the art... the rest of the artists suck... so bad... XD; (well, that's not fair... but let's face it, Spaz's Sonic art is the BEST. :P)

The EXE manga in pure japanese is only $5, well at the japanese book store near my sister it is, due to some of the wierd stuff they've done to it, I feel I have no choice but to learn japanese and read it, eh it was bound to happen especially since I own a japanese PET too, might as well go learn the language if the tv show continues to go at it's butchered pace.
