Went to an interview at Toys R Us this morning. Seems I might be able to get a job there. Pay is ok, I guess, and the hours seem to be a bitch. Ironically, this was the first place I tried some time back. Now that I'm less enthused about the job, my chances skyrocket. Feh. Probably keep looking. Only thing I have against it is if it interferes with my Saturday night role-playing. I don't ask much, I hope I don't end up having to give up the favorite part of my week.

My dad sent this. It's neat for what it is. Funny in a way. I was waiting through the first wave of text, almost expecting it to suddenly go to one of those shrieking pictures people use to scare the hell out of you in stuff online. And while it didn't have quite the shock value of those pictures, the first image still seemed scarier somehow. Go figure.

How late do your Saturday nights usually run? I'm thinking that maybe if you offer to work Sunday, or early Saturday, they might let you have Saturday nights to yourself. But I dunno if they barter.

Well, so far as I know, the shift runs from 9:30pm to 7am, and it involves stocking. Don't know that they'd really have anything for during the day there, but I imagine I can find out... so far, it sounds like at least every other Saturday, if not every Saturday, would be a problem, at least early on. Once the season starts hitting towards Christmas, though, it might be trickier. They say I should be able to be off for one day a weekend then, but I believe it when I see it.
