Capcom pisses me off sometimes.

For Nintendo, the past few years, we've gotten: Mega Man Battle Network, MMBN2, MMBN3 White & Blue, MMBN4 Red Sun & Blue Moon, MMBN5 soon, MMNTranmission, MMZero 1, 2, and 3, 2 MMAnniversary Collections, and MMX Command Mission.

Sorta implies that Nintendo is THE place for Mega Man, right?

So what do they do? They put X7 ONLY on PS2.

So, assuming you've fallen in with Nintendo as a Mega Man fan, you're ultimately told that you need to shell out another 200+ dollars to get that one game in a series that's otherwise been ENTIRELY ON NINTENDO through this current generation.

But that's sorta alright; at least we got Viewtiful Joe, a terrific game, exclusively on Nintendo. So at least there's some balance, right? Well...

What's next? They're bringing X8 on PS2, and Viewtiful Joe 2 on GameCube. So things continue as they were, right?

I wish.

Coming for PS2, they're getting Viewtiful Joe 1 AND 2!

So what gives? Where is my fucking X7 port, Capcom? Where the hell is X8 for the GameCube? Why are you screwing us over like this?

I don't care what others think, for the most part, I like what I've played of X7 on EB Games' demo unit and at a friend's house when visiting down in NC. I want to own it for myself. And I don't think I should have EVERY other Mega Man game currently available on my system save for two.

It's not like I'm asking for special treatment. I don't need bonuses(tho after this crap, it'd be a nice olive branch) or anything fancy. Just give me a straight port so I don't have to buy another system to play them, and I'll be happy.

Of course, I doubt that'll happen. Fortunately for me, there are a small handful of games on PS2 I'd like to play anyway, foremost being TransFormers and DBZ Budokai 2(which will probably do as its predecessor did and go Cube eventually, anyway). Maybe Kingdom Hearts.

Nonetheless, it still disappoints me. I hate exclusives. Unless it's something understandable, like Mario. But as it stands, I can probably afford the games gradually when I start work again, but the system, probably not...

True, but truth of that is, those are old games, compared to X7, X8, and the Viewtifuls.

Nintendo has tiffs alot with Square especially after the Mario RPG ordeal. Yeah I can say it's pretty sad that they never let Nintendo touch any of the 32 bit games except Rock Man and Forte, but the thing is, with N64 technology, a 32 bit game doesn't sound so 64-ish and since Play Station had tons of random 32 bit games, that's why Capcom turned to them. Yeah I'm sort of pissed that they couldn't port the game, but Capcom is slow and lazy, and they'll probably never port an MM game to X Box.

All I can say is wait for a remake.

Also don't play Kingdom Hearts unless you're either a "new gamer" or Square super devotee to any game beyond Super Nintendo era. Yes that game pisses me off because they couldn't bother to cram in FF6 and below cameos, also Lance Bass voices Seperoth and Kid Squall is a big slap in the face, despite the fact he was a cheesey character, his Kingdom Hearts form is sad....Oh and I did forget to mention the reckless usage of Square and Disney riding the horse of sequels and merchandising?

This summer will be a hard choice: MMBN4, MM collection, or Command Mission (which I think is actually coming out in December or some lame delay date)

I am getting MM collection for sure though, I preordered from Game Stop.

I'm personally looking forward to VJ2. Seeing as how totally awesome the first one was, I wait with bated breath for Joe and Sylvia's second outing. :)

So true. I didn't get X7 because I didn't have enough money for the PS2 and the game. Now they want me to buy 2 games and the PS2. It's gonna be enough strain on my wallet to get Command Mission and MMAC, and now this... *sigh*. I'm really missing out on the X series. Only have 2 games for it. X5 and X6. One of them for free.

Oh, and I'm glad there are no MM games for Xbox. Otherwise, there goes $200-something dollars for a practically useless system.
