Bizarre Canadian Laws

You may not pay for a fifty-cent item with only pennies.(Wish I knew this working at Toys R Us)

Citizens may not publicly remove bandages.

In British Columbia, it is illegal to kill a sasquatch.(Perhaps it's the provincial animal?)

In New Brunswick, driving on the roads is not allowed.

In Montreal, you may not swear in French.(And when the law was made, there was a massive city-wide fine)

Also in Montreal, citizens may not relieve themselves or spit on the street. Punishable by a fine of over 100 Canadian dollars.(or 7.50 American)

In Beaconsfield, it is considered an offense to have more than two colors of paint on your house.(I wonder if anyone's ever been charged in the midst of painting their house a different color)

In Toronto, you can't drag a dead horse down Yonge St. on a
Sunday.(Damn, I'll have to take the back streets, I guess)

The city of Guelph is classified as a no-pee zone.(Then shouldn't it be "Guelh"?)

I'm guilty of many of these. Including driving in New Brunswick, paying for a 50 cent item with only pennies, and dragging a dead horse down Yonge St. On a Sunday. Twice.

that's pretty wacky, but a sasquatch could possibly be a super rare endangered species, I understand why kiling one would be such an offense.

In Florida, it's illegal to "molest" a skunk ape. (That's Florida's version of the sasquatch, in case you don't know.)
