Power Rangers Dino Thunder

lbd_nytetraynMan, I hate ABC out of Buffalo.
Got the first ep of Power Rangers Dino Thunder today, and all things considered, it was pretty good. But ABC Buffalo has to run against the grain, and instead of giving us part 2 of the fucking season premiere at noon, immediately following the first part, as per the fucking ABC website, they give us a damn infomercial for fucking male pattern baldness.
So now I have to wait a week for part two, which ABC Family(only available on cable in the US) would have shown today, if not last week(when it debuted there). On top of that, I have to hope they don't preempt it for another stupid NBA special. If that happens, I'm screwed until the end of March when it finally comes to Family.ca in Canada...
Anyways, the first ep was great, especially since it sees the full-time return of "Dr." Tommy Oliver, who seems to have kept himself rather busy since his Wild Force Red Ranger get-together...
And I think the new female Ranger is more fun to watch than the last one, too. :)
Edit: Found a place with BitTorrents. Problem THERE is, stupid ABC Family keeps running some "Trixter" ad all over the place... at least I have eps 2 and 3 now. :D
I'm digging the new series, it's a good bunch this time out, though Connor seems to be carrying a slight bit of "stuck-up" that Shane had in NS... what's with that, I wonder(just in general terms of that line of progression).
The nighttime Zord fight(well, blackened sky, close enough) was cool, I hope we get to see more of it, though I doubt it. Same with the gem powers the Rangers hold.
Having Tommy back is great, and I can't wait for him to explain his history as I've heard about, as I think there are some serious holes to fill between Turbo and now, Forever Red notwithstanding(bonus if they mention it, though). And speaking of FR, I had a feeling this would happen ever since I heard him talking in that ep... he seemed more mentor-ish there. All we need is for him to say, "May the power protect you" and we're set.
As for Tommy creating everything, I'm curious as to just why... unless I just missed the explanation.
And I wonder if we'll ever see Kat... maybe destiny was changed? Maybe we can blame the Time Force for that ;P
Normally, I wouldn't pull for something like this, but I really, REALLY hope we see the Dragonzord return at some point. Well, sort of. I'm conflicted, actually. Anyway...
...come to think of it, Q-Rex Vs. the Tyranozord would be neat, too.
