Weird-ass thing

Red and I, not too long ago, got into a debate... well, a mild argument, really, over the lyrics of the REM song "It's The End Of The World As We Know It". Thinking back to when that song(at least, I think it was that song) played during High School, I could swear there was a part in it that said "Donkey Kong". She said there wasn't, and after checking lyrics sheets, she seems to be right. And I don't have a copy to listen to of theirs, so...

So she's right. That's good for her and all, but what I'm more concerned with is, there had to be some part that, without paying too close attention, had to sound somewhat similar to the words in question. Actually paying attention to the rest of the lyrics seems to make the problem worse, and now it's driving me crazy. Unless I'm thinking of another song, but I was sure it was this one. And granted, reading the lyrics, it would make absolutely no sense for it to be there. So what did I hear...?

Bah!! Confusing lyrics suck. X)!! Hehe, I always manage to do that listening to Tool or A Perfect Circle, because Maynard doesn't annunciate very well. XD!
