lbd_nytetraynEver since moving to this country(Canada, for the ignorant), I've had problems getting gas, mainly due to the fact that anything more than slight pressure on the handle causes the damn thing to click through, cutting off the gas. So typically, I end up getting about 10-15 cents worth of gas per click.
And in the freezing weather this morning, I had to get about 23 dollars worth of gas. So at roughly 15 cents per click, that amounts to about 153 clicks of the gas pump. Going at 10 cents, that's 230 clicks. I was not fugging happy about this, and I let the gas station attendant know as I paid. If only it were an isolated incident...
My other problem is, if you want to pay by (debit, credit) card, it has to clear for 75 dollars worth of gas before it'll allow you to use it(or in most cases, anyway). My car only holds about 40-45 dollars worth. So even when I've had enough for my needs, I've been denied, and had asshat attendants either tell me that I have to pay at the pump, or my card was declined, I can't pay before I pump, etc.
If they're going to be such tards about it, they should just stop with gas and move to electric or solar or some shit...
