Reading over reviews of DDR Mario Mix and checking out the track listings.

Am I the only one just a LITTLE surprised that "Do The Mario" isn't on here? Granted, it may not be the most DDR-ready song, but still, just sort of feels odd that it's not, especially after Pokemon and Kirby's themes on Donkey Konga.

They may just be setting up for Mario Mix 2? We got the game last night, and I hope we can try it out today!

...I knew you'd reply to this, probably first if not only. ;)

Let me know how it is. It's fun to watch the vids, but I don't think I'd be coordinated enough to play. :(

Ah, no way! I started out an uncoordinated mule myself, but after playing a while, anyone can get into it. I'm not as advanced as my friends are, but it's still fun. And apparently Mario Mix is the best version for beginners (I'd hate to see people play with Max or Extreme as their first DDR).

If my heavy ass can play the game and do well at it, anybody who's halfway capable physically can play the game.

Mario Mix is indeed a good version for beginners, and the only option for people who own a Gamecube but not a PS2. The US versions of MAX2 and Extreme 2 are okay for beginners as well, though -- both have a "beginner" level, after all.

Only a few, from what I've seen. Compare at The Mushroom Kingdom's link there.

I think Dic has the rights to Do the Mario. I really want to play the game, I like how they try to make it sound like you could exercise with Mario DDR.

Power Pad redux?

And DIC probably does, still... how hard could it be to persuade them to let them use it?
