I remember at some point, someone had submitted that as the "ending theme" to Mega Man 8 at VGMusic.com. Perhaps because of that, some people who don't know the Europe song think it's actually from Mega Man.
Europe is the name of the band that performed it. IIRC, they were a Swedish powermetal group that only had a few big hits. I think "The Final Countdown" was one of them. Oddly enough, this song was either the number one or number two "Least metal songs" according to VH1. Bunch of wankers.
