Sep. 9th, 2005 10:15 amHot on the heels of the other official page, comes one for Irregular Hunter X, with lots of purdy new screenshots n' stuff.
Looks like the Mavericks got slight makeovers... I think Chill Penguin leans more towards RmRm style now...
Hmm, actually, the pics of the Mavs look oddly angular... and check out Armored Armadillo's handheld shields now...
I submit the links for both to MMN's news thing. I'd post it myself, but I don't want to fight off Norton Antivirus again... if they'd just reupload the damned News thing...

Date: 2005-09-09 04:13 pm (UTC)And Irregular Hunter X is a flatout remake of the original X game? That seems like crap, given the upcoming Megaman X Collection. Though I guess that's likely a US-only release like Megaman Anniversary Collection was...
Capcom: Forcing me to buy every game system released since the PSOne.

Date: 2005-09-09 04:35 pm (UTC)SNES- Megaman X-X3
PSX- Bought solely for X4
PS2- Bought solely for X7 (At the time I didn't know it sucked, but that's what I REALLY got a PS2 for)
And now I have to get a PSP because the DS is missing out on all the Classic and X games, just like I predicted. I don't WANT to get a PSP, but my ties to the X series make me. Better start looking for one of those barebones PSP packs, because I'll be damned if I have to pay $250 for a handheld system.

Date: 2005-09-10 05:15 am (UTC)So with that in account, it's 300(Canadian, mind) for a PSP, about 180 for a slimmed PS2, for a total of 480 Canadian. God knows what PS3 would be, but if it played the other two, it'd probably balance out to about the equivalent of another decently priced system at best.

Date: 2005-09-10 03:55 am (UTC)I'd rather not clog an LJ post with crap about Web Design, but whatever.

Date: 2005-09-10 05:10 pm (UTC)You might ask what the difference is. A button is just a suggestion, no different than adding the "This page looks best in Browser X" tag to the bottom of a page. What MMN has is a system that deliberately targets IE users.
I hate IE as much as the next sensible web design guy, but it's not a web site's place to chastise them for using it.

...That's kinda the area that I was aiming for, yes, since they're the ones using the shitty browser.

The subsites of MMN(MMXO and such) could use it, too.
