Sep. 7th, 2005 11:49 am4chan amazes me sometimes.
Specifically, this bit of insight regarding Rockman Rockman on PSP:
"I can't imagine this appealing to the people who bought a PSP for the "image". Which is to say 'most of them.'"
It's actually a pretty good point.
Also, regarding the level editor:
"Multiplayer giant PVP levels would be awesome too.
Imagine a giant level where you fight each other , and if you pick a weapon type, it stays with you until someone kills you, then they get it, and you're assigned a new random one."
To which someone said:
"That's too good an idea for Capcom; expect single player only."
Sadly, it's probably the case.

Date: 2005-09-07 03:55 pm (UTC)At last check, very few people in Japan bought a PSP "for the image." This is largely irrelevant to Capcom's motherland, and I somehow doubt we'll see it over here as a result of this.
Which is fine by me, honestly. When I say I want a new original-series Megaman game, this isn't what I mean.

Date: 2005-09-07 04:32 pm (UTC)The reason I still won't import it if there is no domestic release is because I like to be able to read what the game says. Megaman games, even the more "standard" ones like X8 and Zero 4, have become rather story- and otherwise text-heavy. These games are likely to have a database of some sort included. If I can't read it, what's the point?

Date: 2005-09-07 04:45 pm (UTC)As far as RR goes... depends on how close it is to the original Rockman game. That one was pretty text-light, and most of it was in English, anyway, so...
