This is probably one of, if not the best EXE eps I've seen. Of course, bear in mind I've only seen episodes 1-38, so forgive me if I'm ignorant of some greater ep beyond that.
Anyway, given the past couple of episodes, or at least the one prior and one or two other previous eps, this one did a fantastic job of retelling what happened, but in a way to fill in the gaps.
This ep is neat, we get to find out what happened to FireMan, where HeatMan came from, and even a bit of a touching scene between Hinoken(Mr. Match) and his longtime friend and partner, FireMan. We also find out who that guy is with Mahajarama(sp), Maddoi, and Count Elec, and why that PET was burning the way it was. And I guess the frozen folk just thawed on their own eventually. Strange as that is, but at least it seems to prove that our froggy little reporter friend wasn't an accident.
Anyway, it may not sound like much, and by itself, maybe it isn't. But taken with its lead-ins, it really was a joy to watch.
