No small secret that I'm looking at getting a Nintendo DS.

Problem being, I don't have two hundred dollars to drop on a new system at the moment.

But after reading an article in EGM, I'm considering doing one of those online "free" bits.

I found one that'll work in Canada, but it needs me to refer four people who have to complete their own freebie offers for me to get mine.

Thing is, do I know four people who'd be willing to help me out here?

I'm not betting on it, not blaming them, either. So I guess the hunt continues.

This is the one I was looking at, for the record, if anyone is curious.

Ugh I hate these schemes. If you buy a DS in the states, they give you a free copy of Super Mario 64, depending what store you go to.

If I'm not mistaken, if you cancel the deals near the end of their trial period, you don't pay anything for most.
