lbd_nytetraynSo Red and I were just talking a little about one of her favorite subjects, Barrel from Battle Network.
No, I don't mind at all. It gives me free reign for characters like Sal, you see.
Anyway. She was telling me a little about some of the stuff he does/says in BN5(nothing really spoilerish, don't worry, she KNOWS better), and I got to considering his personality, and who might be a good voice actor for him when we reach that point in America.
Sounds like he has all the makings of a Garry Chalk character, though I'm not sure how well the voice would look coming from his lips.
Then again, might just take some getting used to. I never expected Higsby to be so high-pitched(thanks to Red's constant Mr. Mackey parallels), nor for Lan to sound 6 years older than he does. I imagine once I got used to seeing them in tandem, it'd work just fine.
A bonus is that Mr. Chalk works the show, but to my knowledge, he's only done the computer voices("GutsMan, logging out" and such).
For those who don't know, Garry Chalk has also provided the voice of the original Guts Man in the old RS toon, as well as Man-at-Arms in the recent He-Man, Slash and Turbo in ReBoot, and of course Optimus Primal and the recent Optimus Primes in TransFormers.
So just wondering other fans' opinions. I always felt he was too underutilized in NT Warrior so far...
