lbd_nytetraynCrappy day.
First, after setting up our Rockman/MegaMan(yeah, I got BOTH kinds ;P ) book collection, I found that Ariga's Megamix #2, the Copy Rockman story, seemed to be missing. And I have no idea where it could be. But since we're still unpacking, albeit slowly, wasn't too big a thing.
Try and go to sleep this morning, but got a lovely, loud earful of the landlord's nephew(I think) watching some sport(hockey? Dunno) on TV. Fortunately, I'm fairly adept at blocking such things out after our last landlord, though this admittedly comes in a bit clearer. Red wasn't keen on getting up early to help her parents move, but it's better that she did when she did, since I doubt she'd have managed to sleep through that...
Later, I wake up and go to work, which was alright in itself. Not too many customers, got to walk around... we even got some new TFs in today. Jetfire, Galvatron, Tidal Wave, and Built-To-Rule Demolishor. I'd be loving any one of those... even BTR Demolishor. I even assisted a family who were looking at an endcap of TFs(including Air Attack Optimus Primal... want) by directing them to the new stuff(think we only had one of each, though). They ended up getting Jetfire, as I found out when I rang them up later on the register.
After work, it's before 10, so I jet over to Wal-Mart so I can get the close-out deal on Krispy Kremes I so rarely get to take advantage of, a dozen for 2 dollars. And as it happens, it just became rarer; sold out.
Calling home, Red had no plans for dinner, so I bring up my craving for KFC, and I go to pick some up.
Place is supposed to close at 11, but they were closed at least a half-hour early, with only the drive-through open. So I go to that, and wait. And wait. And wait some more. I forget how long I was waiting, but it was long enough. By the time I get to order, they're out of chicken they say. Apparently the jackass at the front of the line refused to do as his sorry ghetto-ass was told, and drive around to the front, thus costing me and the missus our dinner. I was cussing, and quite pissed off. "Well, we're closing now..." my ass. You weren't closing when I got there... and KFC delivery closes at the same f'n time. So all I got for my trouble was a waste of my gas, something I DO NOT need right now.
I come home, tried the KFC number to no avail, and I'm just pissed. And I'm tired. And hungry(all I had to eat today was a small bag of M&M's at work). With a headache. So I'm in no good mood, and just go to bed when Red still has no dinner plans. At least hunger seldom bothers me when I'm sleeping...
But first, I get a good earfull of the upstairs goings-on thanks to our heating system. Apparently there was some hockey-rap video on or something... oh, and apparently they were able to obtain all kinds of Krispy Kremes upstairs, as I hear various kinds being named off as they go through them. Lovely. And the nightlight was hurting my already-aching head on top of that.
At least I got some sleep. Worst part of life to me is the little things; they just add up.
