The downside of having a cat who likes to sleep in the sink?

Cat hairs in my toothbrush.

Now that we've had two dogs for a few years, it's just become a natural thing. It's impossible to drop a piece of food and retrieve it without a stray dog hair being on it. I can't imagine how much dog hair I've already unknowingly consumed. I just try not to be concerned.

I think that's cute.

My friend had a cat who slept under the kitchen sink, it never leaves the area for some odd reason, so I could barely see it, when I visited him.

There is but one, reasonable course of action for this.

...Shave the cat. XD

Pff. The downside of living in a hundred year old house?

Mold spores on my toothbrush.

Yeah, I damn near threw up on that one. Cat hair's no fun either, but it's worth the trade off of the "awwww!" moments you get.

Why do you keep your toothbrushes in the sink? wouldn't it be better to have them in, say, a medicine cabinet?

They're in a cup next to the sink.
