Dammit.

Thursday, go to Toys R Us, and they had TMNT2: Battle Nexus for the GameCube, $19.99 clearance.

But without our paycheck, I decide to hold on a day or two.

Go in today, sold out.

Damn my luck. I've heard it's not a good game, but I enjoyed what I played of the demo enough to warrant a purchase at that price.

Especially as the trade-in value at Blockbuster is $49.99.

I was going to buy both copies, one to keep, one to trade. :(

I saw a copy of MMX8 at a K-Mart in Florida for $20. I was worried about it getting damaged en route back home, adnd ecided that if the K-Mart there had it for that price, chances were the one in my home town would have the same.

The K-Mart here has a video game selection that makes Baby Jesus cry.

I relate this tale in the hopes that my comparitivly greater loss will comfort you in your own. Point at me and laugh if it makes you feel better. I hear a good, hearty laugh does wonders...

Dude, Battle Nexus is a great game, but only if you're playing co-op with someone. The fun is sucked out of it otherwise.

*shrugs* So if I don't like it, I trade in the other, and then have a hundred dollars in credit instead of just 50.

The only reason I want TMNT Battle Nexus is the fact you can unlock the original arcade game.

What can I say? I had fun on the Konami demo disc I got(that also had Neo Contra <3), and I want more.

Sadly, Blockbuster doesn't have it for rent. So my options are limited.

I really hope that maybe EB Games will add it to their 20-or-less pile soon.

And as I've said, if I wind up not liking it, I can trade it in for 150% profit over what I paid, were I to get it for 20.
