May. 29th, 2005 02:30 pmDamned Windows XP.
For some reason, it keeps getting the occassional bug up its butt about how it lets us arrange our folders. I usually prefer to have them ordered by "modified" which keeps the most recent stuff at the end.
But now and again, it prevents us from having that option, instead going by suck criteria as "Artist," "Album Title," "Year," "Track Number," etc... for a damned PICTURE album! I even checked Properties, and set it as a Photo Album, like the others, and no go.
Same thing has happened with Movies, too.
I don't know how it happens or how it clears up, but it's a real nuisance.

Date: 2005-05-29 11:26 pm (UTC)Get Windows 2000. I'm going to when I can afford it. But for now, I'm stuck on Windows ME. Isn't as bad as everyone tells me it is, though.

Date: 2005-05-30 07:49 am (UTC)As for the ordering of files and such in XP, for me the stuff stays the way it is, usually, unless I move the folder, or rename it, or possibly add to it. But I guess anything that I wish to have ordered I have numbered the way I want it to be ordered. That way, not even Windows can screw it up.
