Now the CD-ROM Burner/Drive is acting up again. It keeps opening and closing, and Red's just started taking a nap right now.

Is it not possible for something to happen in this house that won't piss me off? I notice my problem seems to stem from electronics. Maybe I should become Amish. Or start breaking things. I dunno.

BN session tonight. And fic writing going on. At least the family-gathering upstairs seems to have ceased. Unfortunately, I find them easier to ignore and sometimes more entertaining than this stupid drive.

It's the little things that piss me off most. Especially when they accumulate. So that leaves my question as simple as, "What did I do to deserve all these little things?"

Augh -- not the CD Burner again.

Do this... check to make sure that the button isn't gummed up or something. We had this problem with some of the computers at work... the button kind of sticks and the sensor keeps getting tripped, causing the thing to repeatedly eject.

I'm convinced your problem is NOT software related at this point, lol.

Good to seeya here :) Anyway, I'm sure Red will see this, she's the one who takes her computer apart. I may use it, but I'm paranoid to do anything to/with it...
