So here I am, unable to sleep before work(and still being a bit sick, I'm sure I could use the rest, especially now that I've finally been able to get to sleep) because at any given moment, someone from the agency that owns the building and a contractor are supposed to show up to measure the windows. And I not only don't want to be caught unawares, but I also don't want to leave anyone here alone, given Dante, Samus, Ridley, and just stuff kept here in general.
Yeah, I'm not a trusting sort, would you be after losing so much crap to strangers?
So I'll likely be late to work tonight, at this rate. On top of that, I'm on closing duty. Yippee.
Wish they'd at least started with ours, since we're the FIRST apartment on the FIRST floor. Oh, nooooo... they had to start on the SIXTEENTH floor.
In other, less-important news, YTV apparently started showing new Yu-Gi-Oh eps, "Wake the Dragons,"(my kinda saga), and I was caught completely unawares...
...weird shit, too. Not so much the plot or anything, but Mai sounds different(I'm sure it's the voice of Rouge the Bat from Sonic X), and Rebecca... yes, THAT Rebecca... looks quite different. Older, it seems. Not that much older, but... it's a nice change.
So anyway, I guess I'm back to doing it the old-fashioned way... just jump on and watch from the middle, piece together what's going on, and wait til they stop an arc right in the middle(some sort of American anime-broadcasting law, it seems) and begin reruns.
Still, if anyone can fill me in, the ep I caught yesterday had Rebecca and Duke dueling this guy with a weird Duel Disc and an Aussie accent, trying to impress Mai. Used a lot of armor-based cards. The train Yugi/Yami/"Pharoah"(as Tristan/Honda called him, which is a new one on me) and Tea'/Anzu were on went over a cliff in the last ep, and they were walking, as were Joey/Joenuchi(sp, sorry) and Tristan/Honda, carrying that Rex Raptor guy(tho they were elsewhere), unconscious.
Prior to this, the last bit I saw was the end of Battle City and the movie.
So yeah, some gap-filling would be nice, but I won't lose sleep over it if no one can(I'm already losing that, ha ha).
