Anyone know what Bernie Stolar is doing these days?

For those who don't know, he's the guy generally blamed for the death of the Saturn.

I think it's a bit unfair of a statement to blame Bernie Stolar solely for the death of the Saturn. Really, Sega just fucked that shit up all around, Sega of America especially.

He's responsible for the Saturn's death in the same way that Jack Kevorkian is a murderer -- he put a doomed system out of its misery to pave the way for Dreamcast. The Saturn was destined for failure from launch, and at that point Stolar was at Sony seeing to the very successful launch of the PlayStation.

Yeah, I've been reading up on the Saturn's life-cycle, and Stolar's involvement in it (http://segacd.org/expression/site_3/segabase/SegaBase-Saturn(Part1).html). Only about 3/4 done, though.

I'm not blaming him for the death of Saturn, it seems Hayao Nakayama is the one for whom the bell tolls there, and ultimately for Sega. I just used the reference as that seems to be how many recognize him.

I'm just curious if anyone knows where Stolar is NOW. ;) MS? Nintendo? Sega still? Sony again?
