wolfshadow: Katamari Damacy is the story of the King of All Cosmos(the one with the grey face and purple headgear) and his teeny, tiny Prince son(far left).

Seems that the King of All Dicks--er, Cosmos, somehow managed to obliterate all the stars in the sky("Most unfortunate, yes" I'm sure he'd say). So now he's charged the tiny Prince with the task of gathering objects on some planet called Earth to replace the stars.

To do this, he gives the Prince an item that looks sort of like one of those Bumble Balls that he rolls around(via you using just the two analogs on the PS2 in tandem), and anything smaller than the diameter of the ball sticks to it. The more you gather, the bigger the Katamari gets, and then the bigger the things you can pick up will be.

So you start small. Game pieces, ants, things of that nature. Then you move on to food, memory cards, mice, then crabs, chalk drawings, pencils, and so forth.

By the end of the game, you're rolling up cruise ships, skyscrapers, ferris wheels, and such.

All because your dad is a careless(but funny) prick.

And, much to the delight of fans of the game...

...is #2.

This game is sooooooo awesome. My only complaint is that the multiplayer mode gets a little dry after a while. I hope multiplayer is given more love in the second game. Rolling up your opponent = w1n!
