Otakon Guest Blues

No, digitallyfanged, I don't mean that Blues. ;P

Otakon is going to be disappointing this year. I tried to get them to bring in Charles Martinet as a special guest, but never got a response. I thought it would be a great way to celebrate 30 years of Donkey Kong and 25 of Super Mario Bros., but I guess Otakon wasn't interested. Martinet was, might still be, but they must have other plans.

I hope to at least get the opportunity to meet him in-person at E3, though. I've spoken with him by phone and e-mail, but never in-person. He's a great guy, and was really enthused about the prospect, but alas...

Eh, nuts to them, then. If it weren't for Mario, I bet half the people who attend might not even be there.
