Not a bad design, tho. Be interesting to see a slimmer upgrade armor instead of one that gets bulkier for a change. I'm just... confused... by the faceplate. I mean... why? Just... why?

*suspects the answer has something to do with the reason for most of the new Mavericks and the new operators, and that this answer is something along the lines of ingestion of controlled substances*

He does look like something out of Battle Network/Rockman.EXE. The head fins remind me of Rockman.EXE and Netto in the first crossfusion design in the anime.

Though it is kinda nice to see X not tromping around with about three tons of blocky metal on his shoulders and back.

You know, looking at this armor, and considering other armor designs (both X and BN), don't you think having a big honkin collar like that, or ginormous shoulder guards, would reduced the wearer's combat ability?

I mean, think about it.

How the heck do they see what's going on around them if their peripheral vision is blocked off by their great big bulky armor doohickies?

Poor X won't be able to see anything shorter than he is in close quarters. He'll die to evil maverick midgets that sneak up behind him!!

Oh well, good thing he's already pretty short. Those'll have to be really really short evil midgets to manage that. Good thing Sigma's tall.

Hmm, maybe that collar is like a base for a clear helmet dome-type thing. Maybe he'll be astronaut X, with a fishbowl on his head.

So Neutral armor for being used in neutral gravity (space?). Maybe?
